Domain Forwarding

For only $1.95 a year, you can forward your domain anywhere you choose. This is a great alternative to paying for web hosting when all you really want is a domain name for your personal site. You can host your site anywhere on the internet! point it at your myspace, facebook, your personal web space with your ISP, or anywhere else that you want!

So you are wondering now: how does it work? It is really quite simple. Let's say you have a website at http://www.somedomain.com/users/yourname, and you register the domain yourdomain.com. When someone types http://www.yourdomain.com in their web browser, they will automagically be redirected to your real site at http://www.somedomain.com/users/yourname, and they will never see the real domain name in their browser. This is not recommended for high traffic, or business sites.

Features

  • Blazing fast performance
Our domain forwarding server is our own implementation of a subset of the HTTP protocol in a raw C-MySQL combo. Nothing beats the request serving speed of our domain forwarding service
  • Hide the destination URL
You can hide the destination URL in any domain forwarding order by enabling URL Masking. That way any long destination URLs remain hidden from the surfer and your brand identity remains consistent
  • Wild carded Sub-domain Forwarding and Path Forwarding
You can setup wild carded forwarding such that each sub domain (eg http://jobs.yourdomain.com) forwards to independent destinations automatically. Also you can enable path information to be replicated in the destination URL such that http://www.yourdomain.com/path1/path2 gets forwarded to http://destinationURL/path1/path2
  • Search Engine Optimization and backward compatibility
You can set the "HEAD" tag content, in order to provide "META" tags and "TITLES" for search engine optimization. You can also set the "NOFRAMES" tag content for compatibility with browsers that do not support frames.
